You can win £1000 worth of prizes & get your work on MTV!

MTV has got together with stop knife crime campaign It Doesn’t Have to Happen to give you an opportunity to Show Us What You're Made Of! It's real simple - we want you to send in your creations: be it film, music, art, photography, dance – anything that shows off your creativeness and displays a positive message!

Everyone has talent - don't waste it...

Competition entries need to be on the issue of knife crime in some way. Show Us What You’re really made of - send MTV your skills, your films, music, art and photography.

The four best entries will receive £1000 for materials on their particular skill or talent. So if you’re a photographer you might want equipment, software, a course even – you can help shape what your prize is so it’s a great opportunity to do what you want to do. Entries could be shown on MTV and as part of an exclusive exhibition in London.

I THINK THIS COMPETITION IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY.....I THINK IT WOULD HELP PEOPLE SHOWCASE THEIR TALENTS.....WITH ME I CHOOSE TO SHUN KNIFE CULTURE AND USE MY HANDFS TO CREAT FASHION RATHER THAN FEAR....I LIVE IN A VIOLENT COMMUNITY BUT GOD HELPS ME TO SURVIVE EVERYDAY....MY INPUT HERE IS FASHION AND PHOTOGRAPHY....I HOPE YOU ALL LIKE MY WORK BECASUE I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH WHAT I HAVE SEEN AND HEARED SO FAR!!!GOOD LUCK

Hey everyone, Im new to the whole MTV thing and it'd be much appreciated if you could have a listen and leave any comment on my profile - I'm a major supporter of stopping knife crime, it affects everyone and we need to all pull together to make this work - I've written a song about the issue, although its not rap sytle, called "We're Superheroes" - Have a listen and tell me what you think! Hi I am a new member and have recently moved house! I received lots of 'New Home Cards' but did not want to throw them out si I cut out all the houses and made them into a street picture which I now have on my Craft Room Wall. The picture is 4ft by 2 ft. I will now try to upload a picture of it and hopefully enter it into the current competition!
